Excellent question! Most smartphones will be enough to take a photo of your pet. Take the photo in the day, with natural light, from the level of your pet’s eyes. You can choose a profile or front photo of your pet.

A drawing based on a photo of your pet roughly in the position you want me to draw it in. A stylized drawing will be a drawing of a pet in a new position created from scratch.

Custom portrait packages include high-resolution digital file and print in either A3 or A4 if you choose listing including print. The digital custom portrait includes a digital file only that you can then print locally. All my art is sold for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.

Depending on how busy I am, one pet portrait can take between 1-3 weeks to complete not including shipping. The digital copy of your portrait is sent to you in email right after the completion of the portrait. Shipping of the print is depending on the selected shipping, destination. Please expect delays due to COVID-19.

All paintings are digital, which doesn't mean they were created by an app and tranformed with one click of a button as some people still might think so. I draw on my iPad with Apple Pencil so they are still hand drawn in a drawing app using custom created digital brushes. Digital drawing requres knowledge of traditional painting as well as knowledge of digital painting. All my creations start with a sketch and end with adding fine details and the whole proces takes hours of dedicated work. I draw on big canvases to be able to offer art that is scalable and suitable for big prints as well.
